Introduce yourself to the Visions of Greatness audience. I am Alicia A. Williams, a former Educator turned Multi 6 Figure Earner Entrepreneur empowering women and men globally through fashionable, affordable accessories. I am also an Author, Motivational Speaker, Mentor and Influencer. With 11.5 years in the network marketing industry, I inspire, encourage and empower hundreds of thousands of women and men to stay motivated and win on purpose through non-traditional success strategies and methods. Although I am no longer in the classroom, I will always forever be an Educator at heart. My classroom just looks different
today, I love that I am blessed with the opportunity to impact lives on a global scale. I am a native of Alabama. Currently reside in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia with my husband and three children.
Who or what inspired you to pursue entrepreneurship?
Time- freedom is what inspired me to pursue entrepreneurship. As a wife and a mother of three active children, a full-time employee with a demanding position and long hours, I struggled with time for family, social life and travel. I knew something had to give and that greater was on the other side of becoming my own boss. Taking that leap of faith into entrepreneurship changed the trajectory of my life and my family.

What are some of the unique challenges and advantages that women face in the business world?
Women in business today are the most creative, innovative human beings created. We are empowered by our unique talents and god-given gifts. We define what success looks like for us and have beat the odds of what has being sad for decades, " this is a man's world." Today, as Beyonce so powerfully stated, "Who run the world? Girls!" We are running things and the world is taking note!
How have you overcome challenges and obstacles in your journey as a woman entrepreneur?
I have been able to overcome challenges and obstacles in my journey as a woman through positive mentorship and guidance. Becoming a better student in my arena. Surrounding myself with like-minded individuals who were going to help, but also push me to my potential.
How do you balance your personal life and family responsibilities with running a successful business?
Over the years, my business has become a family affair. It was important to me that my family understood the dynamics of my business. The who, what, where , how and most importantly the WHY. Once this was achieved, the balance was evident. Not always easy, but the understanding was there. In between the hustle and bustle of running a successful business, family was a priority. It was the number one reason why I decided becoming an entrepreneur was it for me. It's always been "Family First" or "Family Over Everything". Putting my family first and having their unwavering support over the years is one of the main reasons why my business is a success today.
What advice would you give to women entrepreneurs struggling to balance their life and business?
Practice self-care often. It's no longer a luxury it is now a necessity. Balancing life and business is a struggle for many women, we naturally feel guilty when we are unable to make something happen or get it done. Lose the mentality of "no days off". You don't have be on go 365 days a year to achieve the success you desire. No one is getting an award for the Most Overworked Female of the Year! Take care of you too, start putting you on the calendar. Your mental, physical and spiritual health matters too.

God-fidence is the secret to my success. Prayer has always been a part of my business. I can't do it without God. Success starts with self- confidence. As I often say, No one is you, and that is your SUPERPOWER. It is is important to know who you are and whose you are.
